Many food manufacturers include ingredient lists on the outer packaging, and all shipping cases or bulk bags require bar codes for efficient handling through the distribution chain. Ingredient lists and UCC codes can be changed instantly eliminating the need for pre-printed stock and avoiding waste due to obsolescence.
