ICONOTECH INTRODUCES THE DCP-3200 SERIES
Digital Case Printers for a Variety of Case Sizes
CLINTON, CT - ICONOTECH, the originator and leading manufacturer of digital case printing equipment, is introducing
its DCP-3200 Series of digital case printers, designed to print full graphics, in-spec bar codes and human readable text on
flat, RSC cases of various sizes.
The standard DCP-3200 is equipped to handle any size unerected box ranging from 10” x 12” to 36” x 36”. The DCP-
3248W accommodates wider boxes up to 40” in width, while the DCP-3248L is designed to handle longer boxes up to 48”
in length. The DCP-3248W also allows for a greater range of print placement due to a side-to-side adjustment in the
shuttle feed mechanism.
"Although the print field remains at 11" x 32" long, the wider machine provides additional flexibility in print
placement on the case," says Linda Bertelsen, Marketing Manager for Iconotech.
As with all Iconotech printers, the DCP-3200 Series includes label formatting software with the options for text, full
graphics and in-spec bar codes.
"This program allows customers to print any message desired and change the message at a moment’s notice for
timely things such as an ingredient change,"says Bertelsen.
Applications of the DCP-3200 Series include:
- Generic box printing programs: Printing all information, including graphics that had previously been printed by the box manufacturer.
- Printing reliable bar codes: Where reliable read rates are absolutely required and direct to case printing is required for cost minimization.
- Overprinting preprinted (generic) cases with variable information: Print part number, product description and the shipping case bar code on cases printed with company information by box manufacturer.
