ICONOTECH INTRODUCES THE DCP-3200-V3B
Digital Bag Printer Reduces Cost by Replacing Large Labels
CLINTON, CT (Spring, 2001) - ICONOTECH, the originator and leading manufacturer of
digital case printing equipment, introduces a new and improved Digital Bag Printer, DCP-
3200-V3B, the ideal machine for printing text, bar codes and graphics on uncoated white or
Kraft paper bags. The Digital Bag Printer uses the same proven digital printing technology
as Iconotech's acclaimed digital case printer, the DCP-3200.
The DCP-3200-V3B allows for generation and storage of complete print messages
on a PC. It produces resolution comparable to labels within a print area 32" long by 11" wide.
The DCP-3200-V3B prints up to 50 bags per minute with a message changeover time of two
to four minutes using a disposable printing film.
The Iconotech bag printer is very economical to operate costing far less than labeling
or pre-printed bags.
The DCP-3200-V3B's unique vacuum feeding system provides efficient operation. It
includes a lift table magazine holding up to 100 bags depending upon the type of bag
construction. The bags are loaded onto the lift table, which rises as bags are picked off the
top of the stack by vacuum cups and fed between rollers moving them into the press. Once
empty, the table is reloaded.
As with all Iconotech printers, the DCP-3200-V3B includes formatting software for
laying out print messages including text, graphics and bar codes and a thermal imager for
producing disposable print film.
