PRE-PRINT YOUR CASES - only if money is no
object. It is usually the most expensive way to mark cases.
Circumstances vary, but pre-print can add from a few pennies
to $.15 or more to each case you use. Most of that cost comes
from the inflated cost for the box itself. Small orders can
cost 25% to more than 40% more than larger orders. And, look
at the picture. That warehouse is full of unfilled corrugated
boxes. You may be renting that space apart from your principal
manufacturing area. You may be using a large portion of your
manufacturing facility to store pre-printed cases. In either
case, you are just setting fire to money and inhibiting the
growth or your manufacturing. Further, if you could look more
closely at the picture, you'd probably find out that a noticeable
percentage of the cases held there are now obsolete. In any
